Said Ouissal is the CEO and founder of ZEDEDA, and a member of the Board of Directors for Marathon Holdings. Prior to ZEDEDA, Said held executive product management and (technical) sales roles at various infrastructure companies like Ericsson, Juniper Networks, Redback Networks and Violin Memory. Next to his customer engagement experience, Said has worked in engineering and development roles as well for companies such as Lucent, Versatel and Conxion. Said has extensive experience in IP networking (routing, switching and security), telecommunications, cloud, mobile broadband and is inventor of 2 issued patents. Said holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, is originally from the Netherlands and speaks 5 languages.

Erik is a co-founder and the CTO at ZEDEDA, and he is an expert on architecting and implementing secure large scale software systems, with a deep understanding of the implications of the Internet on system design. Prior to joining ZEDEDA he was developing software at Arista Networks, architecting the evolution of core software as a Cisco Distinguished Engineer, and earlier had a long and varied career as a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems. Erik has been driving Internet standardization and architecture in the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and on the Internet Architecture Board (IAB), seeing the evolution of IoT protocols and the potential security impact on the Internet as a whole. Erik holds over 29 US patents, and has a Technical Licentiate degree from Uppsala University and a MS from Stanford University. For the past five years Erik has focused specifically on security and safety for edge computing deployments, working with customers on product deployments while building solution approaches as part of the Linux Foundation’s EVE open source project. As part of this effort Erik has helped to build a robust and secure software system that addresses common needs at the distributed edge, such as avoiding firmware and software attacks in the field, ensuring security and environmental consistency with unsecured and flaky network connections, and for detecting and avoiding supply chain attacks.

Raghushankar Vatte is the Field CTO and Vice President of Strategy at ZEDEDA, where he has built both the Customer Success and Product Management organizations, and today focuses on customer impacting technologies and engagement. Prior to ZEDEDA, Raghu has held multiple engineering, solution architect and customer success roles at companies including Skyport Systems (acquired by Cisco), Juniper Networks, and Cisco.

Padraig Stapleton is the Sr. Vice President of Engineering and Operations at ZEDEDA. An experienced leader with a track record of developing innovative solutions leveraging AI/ML, big data, and cloud, Padraig has a proven track record of building and leading global engineering teams at both public and pre-IPO companies, and has been part of several IPOs as well as acquisitions. Before joining ZEDEDA, he was the Chief of Engineering at Mobileum, incubated and grew the Big Data Engineering and DevOps teams at AT&T, and has held senior leadership and engineering roles at companies like Argyle Data (acquired by Mavenir), Telephia (acquired by The Nielsen Company) InterWAVE Communications (acquired by Alvarion Technologies), and Lucent.

Michael Maxey is the Vice President of Technical Business Development at ZEDEDA, where he focuses on building and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies with customers and partners. Maxey is also Chair of the LF Edge Governing Board, helping drive efforts around standardization, developer recommendations, and solution building. Prior to ZEDEDA, Maxey held executive product management and corporate development roles at various infrastructure companies like Dell, Greenplum, Pivotal Software, Smallstep Labs, and EMC.

Dormain Drewitz is Vice President of Marketing at ZEDEDA, the leader in edge computing platforms. Before joining ZEDEDA, Dormain was Vice President of Product Marketing and Developer Relations at PagerDuty and led product marketing and content strategy for VMware Tanzu. Prior to it’s 2019 acquistion by VMware, Dormain led product marketing, ecosystem marketing, and customer marketing at Pivotal Software, through its 2018 IPO. Before shifting into platform and solutions marketing roles at Riverbed Technology, she spent over five years as a technology investment analyst, closely following enterprise infrastructure software companies and industry trends. Dormain holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Nick Chang is the Vice President of Customer Experience at ZEDEDA. He brings over 30 years of extensive experience in worldwide field services, customer success, professional services, portfolio management, business strategy, and partner management. At ZEDEDA, Nick oversees the entire customer relationship lifecycle, including onboarding, enablement, adoption, support, retention and expansion motions. Prior to ZEDEDA, Nick led Customer Success teams at companies including Aryaka, Palo Alto Networks, and HPE. He has also held executive management roles at companies including BlueData (acquired by HPE), Hitachi, NetApp, Sun Microsystems, and HP. Nick is a two-time winner of the HITEC 100 most influential global Hispanic executives in technology (2024 and 2019) and was named a Top 100 Customer Success Strategist in 2020 by SuccessCOACHING.

Ruchi Kasliwal is a seasoned finance and operations leader with a proven history of driving financial strategy, operational excellence, and transformative growth across the technology and startup ecosystem. Currently serving as Vice President of Finance and Business Operations at ZEDEDA and as an Advisory Board Member at Klarity, Doublefin and Easycomp, Ruchi brings a wealth of expertise in scaling organizations, optimizing revenue operations, and executing complex M&A integrations. Ruchi’s executive experience includes pivotal roles such as VP of Finance & Operations at Singularity University and Head of Finance and Operations at Novo Insurance, a Telenav spinoff. Notably, she played a critical role in scaling MongoDB’s revenue growth from $65M to over $250M and in supporting the company through its IPO process, positioning these organizations for long-term success. Along with MongoDB, Ruchi also led Quotient Technologies through its IPO process, positioning the company as a leader in the AdTech space. With an MBA in Finance from San Jose State University and a CAAP certification in Accounting and Finance from Santa Clara University, Ruchi excels at aligning financial strategy with operational goals to deliver impactful results. Her expertise lies in fostering scalable growth, driving innovation, and building high-performing teams that thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
