Event Liability Waiver and Release

This Liability Waiver and Release (“Waiver“) is entered into by the participant identified in the registration form (“Participant“) for the benefit of Zededa, Inc (“Company“), its affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives.

I acknowledge that my participation in the event identified in the registration form (the “Event”) is voluntary. I understand that participating in the Event may involve certain risks, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or illness. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.  In consideration of being permitted to attend the Event, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Company, its affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. 

If alcoholic beverages are served at the Event, I acknowledge that: 

• I am responsible for my own consumption of alcohol and agree to drink responsibly.
• I will not drive under the influence of alcohol or engage in any activities that may endanger myself or others.
• Company is not responsible for any injury, illness, accident, or damages related to my consumption of alcohol at or after the Event.
• I understand that I may be refused service of alcohol if I appear intoxicated or violate any laws or Event policies.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from my actions at the Event, including but not limited to injury to myself or others, property damage, or violation of Event rules. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the Company to obtain necessary medical treatment for me. I understand that I am responsible for all medical costs incurred as a result of my participation. 

I grant the Company the right to use my name, image, likeness, and recordings taken at the Event for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.

I certify that I have read this Waiver in its entirety, fully understand its terms, and consent to it voluntarily. I acknowledge that by giving my consent, I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue the Company.
